Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations/Refunds/Transfer requests must be made in writing or in e-mail. 

Semester programs generally refer to programs that run once a week. Camp programs refer to programs that run Monday to Friday.

All cancellations are subject to a $50 administration fee. 

Cancellations requested within 7 business days of the start of camps are subject to a cancellation penalty of 50% of the total camp fee. 

Any refund requested is considered on an individual basis. Cancellation requests due to medical reasons must be accompanied by a doctor’s note at the time of the request. Refunds will be issued by cheque by mail or pick-up, or if purchased online with CC will be reimbursed directly to CC

Please allow 4—6 weeks for a refund to be mailed after it has been issued.

Under the GUI Academy reserves the rights to refuse to render class or camp services to any participant with or without reason or cause.

You will hold Under the GUI Academy harmless, are aware of the inherent risks of participating in these classes/camp programs. Your child is of suitable fitness level to participate and if you require more information about these risks of the programs, you will contact the person in charge of these programs.

In the event of an accident or injury, you give permissions and authorize Under the GUI Academy Camp staff to provide appropriate medical services or attention to my child. You understand that Under the GUI Academy does not carry or maintain health, medical, or disability insurance and I will cover any costs associated with health emergencies or injuries succumbed during classes or summer camps.

Should your child require such assistance during our camps, you give permissions to the Under the GUI Academy camp staff to apply any sunscreen that is necessary.

Media Release

Throughout the school year and camps, students may be highlighted in efforts to promote Under the GUI activities and achievements. For example, students may be featured in materials to increase public awareness of our school through newspapers, radio, TV, the web, DVDs, displays, brochures, newsletters and other types of media. It is important for us to know your wishes regarding division and media coverage of student achievements and events during the time your child is a student within our school. If you do not wish to have media coverage of your child, please inform us immediately prior to the start of the school year or camp.
